Yeah, you can use a drop of acetone or plain nail polish remover in each bottle if theyre really cluncky and gross.
I do it all the time, it saves alot of money :)

I actually wouldn't recommend acetone for thinning nail polish... It works for a little while, but since acetone evaporates so quickly, it usually leaves the polishes as gloopy or even worse after a while. Try a nail polish thinner instead. Seche Vite has one called Seche Restore (which is mainly for thinning out their top coat but works wonders on other polish too, it is however quite expensive) and OPI has one too, which works very well indeed (not as expensive as the Seche one).
Acetone is a good emergency solution, but in the long run, you might end up damaging your polishes more than if you'd just let them be :(
nooooooooo! do not, not, not use acetone to thin out your polishes! it will change the formula entirely....and over time it will break down the polish and can change its color. you can get a bottle of polish thinner at sally's or a beauty supply store for pretty cheap. i got one by ORLY and used it to thin out about 50 bottles so far....some were REAAAAAALY thick. and i still have some left over. you don't want to end up ruining the nail polish you already have...so just spend the extra couple bucks and get what's going to work properly :)
