So, I'm finding myself wanting to do a lot more "Sailor Moon Series" and "Disney Princess Series" type looks on my channel, and I'm needing some eyeshadow in some serious colors with some serious pigment. I'm doing my research on these BH Cosmetics Palettes. They seem too good to be true. All those beautiful colors for such a cheap price?! Enlighten me. Do any of you use them? How do you like them? How much product do you get from one eyeshadow? They seem kinda small..
Also, I've been eyeing their gloss palette as well. Let me know what you all think!
I loathe them with every fiber of my being, ha. I have the second edition and I hate the pigment, formula, everything about the eyeshadows. I'd rather go and buy Inglot (or, uh, ask my Polish friend to send me Inglot, LOL!).
The BH Cosmetics palettes are just wholesale palettes from China. While you certainly can use them, I do think you're better off investing in better eyeshadows. Granted they offer a wide variety but I know that it can run a little powdery. There's about a dime size of eyeshadow per pan.
I don't own any of the wholesale palettes (88 Original/Matte/Neutral/whatever-else, 78, 28 Neutral, 120, 10 Blush, et al). One, I'm a quality skeptic in those regards. Two, I doubt I'd use most of the colours, especially in the eyeshadow palettes.
If you want some brighter colours, check out Sugarpill and/or Ben Nye. (Ben Nye's selection is larger.)
I think the opposite, sorry guys, its a good way to start a collection but i use coastal scents and right now their 88 color pallettes are 9.99! they're eyeshadows are pigmented and have hardly any fallout. Using this palette can be beneficial to viewers who are just starting their collection because its affordable!
I bought my bh cosmetics 120 eyeshadow 2nd edition when i first started my collection and i love it! I think its a great way to start. I hardly have fallout and yes they are very pigmented!
I have the 88 palette and, like Ashely and Rosita, I do think it's a good way to start. I actually carry it in my kit for when I need bright/bold colours. The quality and pigmentation of my palette (probably first edition) is excellent and isn't anymore chalky than Inglot eyeshadows (I find some very chalky). For 88 dime sized shadows, it's pretty affordable.
I am not familiar with their gloss palette though.
I have the Tropical Matte Palette and the Cool Matte Palette by BH Cosmetics. They're a part of the 88 collection palettes. I think that some of the eyesahdows are hit or miss. Some are super pigmented while others are just blahhhh. The only way to get them to REALLY pop is to use a white base, that's when they work best. I haven't tried the 120 palettes and I'm not sure I ever will, but I do think that they are good to have in a collection.
Eh, they're okay. I like the 88 warm palette, but the other ones (the really shimmer ones) just have sooo much fallout! I can't stand fallout. But I think they're an okay basic to have, and I don't regret buying them, they're just a little hard to work with.
