I have began to cover some tips for long lasting makeup during the humid summer months on my blog at http://www.callidorafaces.com/blog. Does anyone have any other products and suggestions to offer on this subject?
Today the temp hit 92 with high humidty index. I literally stepped outside and after 5 minutes I wanted to go back inside and shower.lol. For my makeup I kept it light and simple. Serum, Peter Thomas Uber Dry Sunscreen SPF 30, Smashbox BB cream, and Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge, mascara, lipgloss. I didn't set it with powder and my skin still looked great even though the rest of my body was a sweat fest. And I spent 8 hours outside. For me the key is to not set my make-up with powder during the summer months.
@Yesenia I'm gonna have to try that Urban Decay stuff! I was outside for a total of 1 hour today and thought I was going to die. Grosssssssss. I'll be wearing my hair up all summer!
Invest in a BB cream. That's what I'm about to do! The lighter, the better!
Waterproof/sweatproof makeup is something I love to do! My favorite products are cream shadows!
What I like the most are Urban Decay 24/7 shadow pencils. Those pencils are amazing and I use them every day! Also love my NARS tinted moisturizer!
