Lately I have been having an itchy scalp. It's really really itchy but I know I don't have lice I have checked!! Any way of getting rid of itchyness and shampoos and conditioners I could use? xo
I'd suggest buying Lush' Soak & Float shampoo bar. I've had severe scalpproblems for about a year prior to buying that and it fixed all of my (itchy) issues! It smells really bad but it's a miracle worker and once you rinse it out you can barely smell it in your hair so you don't have to worry about your hair smelling bad.
Try adding tea tree oil to your regular shampoo and/or conditioner, or buying shampoo that contains it. It is antimicrobial and is used for a number of skin conditions, including acne, dandruff, psoriasis, and eczema. You can find it at just about any natural food store or even in The Body Shop. While the bottle of oil may cost a bit, it will last you quite some time. Sorry if I sound like an ad. Just trying to be helpful!
