I just noticed that all my pores on and around my nose is clogged!! I could see the pores really badly especially when i wear liquid foundation. I tried using pore strips but those don't work. HELP!!!
Do you guys have any ideas to help me?! :'(
I use a face steamer which is no different then putting your face ove foiling water. then i cleanse with a mild face scrub. then for brighter skin i put a thin layer of honey all over my face for 30 minutes and wash it off with warm water and moisterize with hemp lotion :)

Facial with extractions and for maintenance/prevention use a glycolic serum Murad t zone pore refining gel to exfoliate dead skin cells and prevent buildup. Without extractions, oil and debri will continue to buildup filling your pores. When you get them extracted they will shrink back to a smaller size, as they expand when filled.
*Don't use St. Ives scrub. The gritty apricot shell pieces scratch, irritate skin no matter how gentle u are. It cause micro tears in the skin-it's more appropriate for the bottom of the feet.
Goodluck =)
I'm gonna chime in here! While you're working on unclogging, try patting your foundation on with a beauty blender or sponge in this area. When you sweep it across your nose, the product will miss the pores and leave them looking huge and "open". Buff and tap it on, and it will cover much better!
Check out my profile I wrote up some tips for teens I know how you feel first you need to unclogg the the pores. Check out the psot it in there on how to.
Also feel St Ives is too harsh for the face? Recommend much milder and especially designed for theface - buffing grains by bobbi brown or dermalogicas daily micro exfoliant x
I wouldn't recommend St. Ives. WAY to rough on the face. I used it for years and think it played a big part on me developing Rosacea. I would recommend for an exfoliating cleanser either Bare Mineral Exfoliating Cleanser (made with clay, no parabens) or Dermalogica's Daily Exfoliating Cleanser (made with rice, contains parabens). BM is about $26 for 4 oz or 6 oz (can't recall which off hand) while Dermalogica is $40 to $50 depending on the store/online store and/or sales. I think it is also 4 oz.
Yasmin is right, St. Ives is not good for your skin., you should try pore cleansing mask from Artistry, it is very effective. you will see a difference in few usage.

Try getting facials at an esthetician/derma office every few weeks. They have specific ones designed to extract clogged pores.

I would also recommend a weekly exfoliating and peel routine. Try St. Ives Apricot Scrub then REN Glycolic Mask after. It works wonders for me!
