i made my own compact with blotting papers. the blotting papers can be that type of paper that they put in bathrooms to dry your hands or the one that covers the seat. i cut it and put it in the compact, everyone loves it and it works awesome! didnt cost me a cent.
I am obsessed with the clean a d clear blotting papers!! Mineral powder is allllllright but if you apply it more than pnce throughout the day you run the risk of beginning to look cakey. Have you tried any makeup setting sprays? I am a huge fan of skindinavia(look on amazon) or try urban decays de slick!!
You will actually want to use both if you are trying to combat oily skin. You don't want to keep applying mineral powder over the course of the day unless you love that cakey oily look. I use blotting papers from ELF that only cost me a buck for 50 sheets at Target.
I love my powder but sometimes its not very convenient on a night out. So i use the napkins from Starbucks! Not only are they recycled but they pick up about as much oil as blotting sheets. I take a couple everytime I buy my coffee, and I dont feel guilty at all lol
