I've been wanting to dye my hair like this (a lot like Bella from Twilight's hair) for a very, VERY long time! I'm heading over to Sally's soon, so keep in mind I want those brands. Anyways, let me know what you suggest and what that color would be called. I have medium ashy blonde hair. So whatever dye I get will have to be one or two shades darker than I want so it turns out right. Thanks in advance guys!

Use a demi permanent color. You will want to pick the level at your target shade, not darker. With light hair like yours, going two shades darker than your goal will leave you darker than intended. Good luck!

Really? I don't find that to be true. Everytime I dye my hair it turns out much lighter than it actually should be. I think I'm still gonna go one shade darker. I'm not going to be able to go to Sally's for a few days.

Um, but why demi permanent? Just curious.

You do not need grey coverage and you are depositing color darker than your natural level. This way you won't be affecting your hair's underlying pigment, you won't have a sharp line of regrowth, and you will have loads of shine!

But will the color turn out ashy like my real color? But i guess I'll try Demi, especially since I'll be going so much darker. :)
