I'm building my makeup kit and I'm wondering what foundations would be good to start with preferably affordable with a wide variety of shades that are buildable coverage. Any suggestions?

I personally like the Ben nye foundation palette it's a little small but enough variety and great coverage but I would rather work with airbrush it's easier.

I just got the RCMA sampler palette, I got the KO palette first but I will be getting the Shinto palette and the thinner too. I paid $54 for it from Frends beauty supply. All you need is a business card to get their pro discount.

Mehron HD foundation palette. It has all the colors you'll need. Its worth the money.
