I was thinking about investing in a airbrush kit not only for myself but for my clients. I don't want to spend a lot of money for now untill I get the hang of it and really aquire sum skill, then I plan on buying a really nice expensive one. I have 2 questions.
1. has anyone tryed the "ticked pink airbrush system"?
I seen one used on ebay for cheap. and if its descent would like to buy it.
2. if I get a airbrush compressor (not any specific brand) can I use watever brand of airbrush makeup I want? 0r do I have tostick to watever brand the airbrush comp. is?
help would b greatly apriceated!!

You can use any brand compressor with any gun but you may need a hose that connects the two, although it isn't hard to find. you could even use equipment from a regular art store. I would recommend a lightweight portable compressor because you will likely have to carry it around with you!

Yes you can add whatever brand to it.. but airbrush makeup is not like regular foundation.. it is more like a thin liquid so don't add regular foundation to the compressor!

You should apply for pro discounts. You can get a great deal on a whole set, which includes the compressor, gun, airbrush foundation sample sets and all the hook ups. I like Graftobian glamaire and occ for airbrush makeup. I use Graftobian on my clients because the sample sets come with a sample foundation set as well, which I like to use to color match clients before applying the actual airbrush makeup. Both brands are water based.
