It is the same I bet, but I live in a small town people have had the same hair dressers for 30 years so that makes it tuff. Go to the fashion districts when you get to LA it's a gold mine.

Good luck with your dream. LA will be a great place to come so hair and make up, there are plenty of places to work, and plenty of opportunities to learn. There are almost as many beauty salons as Starbucks out here, lol.

As an L.A native hollywood, west hollywood, Inglewood, some parts of Downtown L.A would be great. But it depends on your comfort level and what you wanna do. If you like a fast paced environment try Melrose if slower go to places like Culver City, Venice, etc. Good Luck.
