Rachelle (bride from photograph) is an extra special bride for me because shes actually my cousin. We wanted the classic smokey eye, but we also didnt want to have it be so dark in photographs.
Solution? I used taupe and burgundy to create the smokey look, but the taupe I applied on her lid has shimmer, so it caught the light from flash photography giving the illusion of a brighter and lighter color. What do you think about this look?
If you want to try this look, here's the products I used:
-Urban Decay Primer Potion
-MAC Satin Taupe on her lid
-MAC Haux across the crease
-MAC Blackberry to deepen crease and smoke out the black eyeliner on waterline
-MAC Sketch on outercorners
-MAC Brule on brow bone to further blend and highlight
Please post pictures if you end up trying this look- I'd love to see how it looks on you since it looks different on everybody!
Enjoy!
