This was the first time I have worked on a film and I had not previously met any of the cast or crew.
I worked from 8:30am to 9pm on Saturday, and from 4pm to 7:30pm on Sunday.
I did not get paid, however I did get fully reimbursed for the materials I purchased/used, I was able to take as many photos as I wanted for my portfolio, I was accredited for the makeup and hair styling and I am getting sent out a DVD of the film once it has been edited which I can also use for my portfolio.
The cast and crew were thoroughly impressed with the looks I created and have asked me to work on their next upcoming films.

Same here, I worked with LMU in westchester, california. It was an awesome experience. I wasn't asked to do too much so that was good for my first experience. I worked on two films so far and only asked for one reel. I did not take pictures unfortunately but hopefully the reel is enough.
