A gentle exfoliant, a non-stripping cleanser for normal/dry skin, and lots of moisturizer!

Moisturiser will only serve to stick down any flakey skin which will return as soon as your skin dries out again. you need to get rid of any flakes first, if its on your body use exfoliating gloves in the shower, if its on your face use a gentle exfoliater especially for your face. then use a very rich moisturiser. you should only need to exfoliate once or twice a week subsequently :-)
