Will Putting Eyeliner On The Bottom Of My Eye Make It Look Smaller?

I never do bottom liner but I want to try if you don't think it'd make my eyes look smaller. Plus, any tips on how to do it? Sorry if this sounds dumb lol.

It can make them look smaller but it also depends on the color you chose and application. Applying a light eyeliner shade like white or cream to your lower waterline actually opens and brightens your eye which will make them appear larger. I wouldn't exactly chose to use an eyeliner on the lower lashline but maybe a darker eyeshadow color. Eyeshadow will not look so harsh.

I line with white to make them look wider. I don't like my waterline done in black on myself but I think it looks nice on other people. It does make eyes look smaller though.. Try it out on yourself and see if you like it! Try a brown instead if black is too harsh =]

I put eyeliner on the bottom.(: But I also add a light eyeshadow on the corner of my eyes.

I line my bottom waterline with black then put some of the dark eyeshadow that I was using underneath and everyone always compliments my eyes and how big they look so I think it just depends on your eye in general??

I use a light brown eyeliner on the bottom but not all the way. I go about half way on my waterline and it definitely opens up my eyes.

You can put white eyeliner on the bottom and it will make them look bigger! Lol.

Try doing white or cream eyeliner on your waterline and a darker liner on your lower lashline. It will accent your eyes while making them look larger.

Putting the liner along your bottom lashline makes them look bigger, but putting it on the waterline is what makes them look smaller. I never put anything on my waterline, big eyes are beautiful(:

I wear macs eye shadow, it's called jete and its amazing. I don't like the whole dramatic look. I do eyeliner on the bottom with a light shadow in the corner and then my bottom lashes after. I get many compliments on how my eyes look.
