MAC is incredibly expensive! It all wears off super quickly and in my opinion is really too thick and colorful. I think Bobbi brown is a lot better for your face and has a more natural look.

MAC is expensive!! The quality is overhyped because I have gotten better lipsticks/foundations from drugstores and they work just as well and better. $15 for a lipstick you have to keep reapplying. The makeup always looks caked on even when I try to use just a little. I kept wearing these products over and over so I can get a true idea and base my opinion on experience. I just don't feel like it does a good enough job worth me spending that much on their products. The fix+ does absolutely nothing for me, It's like water lol. The concealer wears off and doesn't stay on. I was so disappointed because I was hoping I would have the same experience as those who highly rated them.

I think MAC has the ability to be cheaper then some other high brand names in terms of lipstick. My Too Faced lipstick is $21 a tube compared to MACs $15 a tube. I do love them for their lipsticks and the WIDE range of colors that they have. I will say that even though I love their shadows I have found better in cheaper brands like Coastal Scents. Their lip primer is good but those things aside I can't say much. I understand the hype in some aspects, but not all.

Well I think it's mostly due to the fact that the drug store really stepped up on their makeup!cuz 5 years ago drug store products for the most part were all blah! And the stuff that's there coming out with now "dupes" for higher end products.

I agree. The concealer is thick but doesn't do shit for me. Same goes for the foundation, it looked cakey and barely stayed on. The primer didn't work for me either, I paid big bucks to smear another layer on my face that didn't do anything to help it at all. The only thing I like about MAC is their lipsticks, I've received compliments for them and they stayed on all day.

I love their eye shadows on the simple fact they have a variety of finishes, matte, satin, velvet, shimmer and frost. Due to my oily lids most of their eye shadows stay in place. A lot of other brands either have shimmer and matte.

I think that just like any other company I purchased cosmetics from there are products that are good and bad. But to be honest Mac is a cheaper company compared to other high end brands. So I don't really feel like I'm spending too much. Then again I do not buy all my cosmetics from Mac. And I seriously do love a lot if their lipsticks!!

MAC is great for the pigments. MAC just has a solid variety of all sorts of shades from foundations to eye shadows. Its not really the greatest for the skin though. I was never ever super wowed with MAC.

The only MAC product I've been interested in enough to buy is their lipstick, and even still I only have one so far. I do like their lipstick formula over some other high end brands I've tried. But literally not a single other thing of theirs appeals to me. The last few collections they've put out have looked really cheap to me, I've heard soo many bad things about their foundation and nothing rivals Urban Decay in my book when it comes to eyeshadow so I guess I don't really feel they have much to offer me. If people like their products, cool but I have never understood the hype. I think it's gotten to a point now where it's just a name people are buying into without actually taking into account the quality of the products anymore.

Its an artistry line the colors are pigmented more but I think some ppl only know of M.A.C so thats why its hyped up so much if you know colors and how to blend you can wear anything...

I have only had good luck with MAC and never disliked any products from them (and I've bought a lot for years). I think it just depends on the person. I've also had horrible experiences with many drug store makeup I purchased but then again, that's just me.
