Why isn't my YT Channel progressing?

So I've been doing YT videos for about 6-7 months (I have 33 videos) and I have 38 subbies. The problem is that whenever I go and check out some other youtubers' channels, they have like video requests and questions and they're asked to do a tutorial etc. And they have like only 10 videos! And I have nothing:( No one ever asks me to do this or that and it feels bad because I feel I'm not interesting enough...

I do advertise my channel but I don't do "sub for sub"-stuff. I try to do nice and fun videos but I'm very nervous all the time because English isn't my native language so I'm scared I don't remember some word etc.

What should I do? For example Carlibel55 has had a channel for over a year now and she's a big youtuber already! What's wrong with me?:/

I would really appreciate some nice feedback! (My channel's name is TheChecked, in case you want to check it out...)

Maybe you should do a giveaway. Um do fun diys. Try to be creative like I like to watch diys aince I learn things. For beauty do fun stuff like challenges. Umm if english isn't your native language you can say a few in your language and explain the meaning. Maybe you should do less videos abd spend more time and detail in the ones you do.

Betsy: Thank you!
Jocelyn: I can't do thumbnails, because I'm not partnered with Youtube yet... But thanks!

I agree with the others, and honestly I believe that HD videos are more popular. I know some people can't afford it or don't see the point, but it does help.

Everyone is eligible for partnership now, you just have to monetize your video and link an adsense account. I got "partnered" with only one video, and you get all of the perks instantly.

Try to do interesting and colorful thumbnails!
