I don't want it too short, but it's very long right now. I would like a bit more volume because my hair is thin, maybe layers? Any suggestions??

I would trim it, and maybe get a little bit of side bangs?? I had long hair and when I got long layers I absolutely hated it. Maybe ombré with just a trim(:
