You should try to layer the same mascara or the same brand of mascara. I never tried clump crusher witb rocket volume though.

Like Chrysanthemum said, don't layer two different company's. sometimes the formulas clash and the result isn't pretty... No pun intended.

Instead of layering different kinds apply one coat then witha qtip or your finger tip apply a little baby powder to your lashes top and bottom then apply mascara again the powder gives the mascara something to adhere to it really works makes long full lashes.

I haven't tried that exact combination, but I use Maybellinr Great Lash with Covergirl LashBlast Volume. It doesn't clump at all and the two actually play well together. You can try it and if it doesn't work then you'll have two new mascaras. :)

That would be a great combo because Clump Crush is very separating and The Rocket is kind of almost too volumizing. lol I don't see why you would have a problem layering mascaras from different companies, I do it all the time and there are never problems.
