@Christa L posted a great tip. You could also use a lip pencil the exact color to fill in lips then apply lip color and finish off by blotting and adding a very light coating of translucent powder.

I put lipbalm on before I do my lipstick and it helps it last longer.. I do get like a film type thing going on on the inner part of my lips that sucks.. but I use chopstick then lip liner and fill in all of my lips then lipstick. lasts me all day. I do like to touch up just in case.

You can also try applying with a lip brush and really working it into the lips so it makes it more like a stain and lasts linger
