Take lots of pics of all your work and start a portfolio. also do as many haircuts as possible I don't know about your school but at mine we really don't have that many clients come in for haircuts. go to as many hairshows as possible they offer a lot of classes. I love it overall its not as hard as I thought but I'm a pessimist lol Ill be a jr in August

I juss graduated from empire beauty school, one tip I recommend is make a lot of friends they will help you through a lot, be a sponge, make sure this is your passion is the biggest tip I can give, if its not then your not going to make it very long on the salon floor, I seen a lot of people drop out because they couldn't handle it, good luck sweetie

Thanks y'all! :) I'll be starting Paul Mitchell in June! This is a passion of mine! It's something I really enjoy and want to succeed in so I'm trying to get the best advice from people who have been through it because I'm really nervous!
