So, hair grows on average 1/2 a month, sometimes more and sometimes less depending on genetics and other factors. While there is no magic 'help it grow longer' product what you can do is stimulate your body an scalp to help the process along. Once I started massaging my scalp and using the proper oils and moisturizers, as well as drinking more water as that plays a HUGE part, my hair as grown about 1 1/2 inches in two months. It is important to stimulate your scalp and make sure you're in putting the right things into your body. All hair pills are are amped up vitamins most of the time. Biotin is a B vitamin, called B7 sometimes, and is a type of vitamin b. Aphogee hair pills are nothing but a load of vitamin A, E, etc. So they're just putting more things into your body that you already add. Make sure you are drinking plenty of water or tea, take the time out to massage your scalp when adding oils to the scalp stimulated, and try eating a bit better. Oh! And keep your ends trimmed so split ends don't interfere with your hair growth.

I had tape extensions and when I took them out my hair looked shorter than before I had them, probably because I was so used to it super long but in the past month I've not been using much heat and when I do I ALWAYS use a thermal spray, I only wash it twice a week and when I shampoo I massage my scalp too. I've noticed and my friends too that it's grown a fair bit in just one month so pretty happy with that! Definitely worth a shot for you :) I've tried taking pills before (sea kelp, sisters a hairdresser and said it works) but it's not worth it. Give the other things a try, no need to spend money either :)

Also when you take pills that promote hair growth, it's not just the hair on your head that grows!

@Erin what kind of oils did you use. I'm definitely drinking a lot of water since I live in a desert.
