That's style; the helmet head really do mess up your hair. That's has a lot split ends. You should just talk to your stylist and he/she will suggest the best hair style for your hair type.

Think this would work quite well on your hair, coz the top layers are so short you'd just need to use abit of hairspray and maybe a texturing product =]

Honestly if you want "scene hair" you're going to have to do some kind of teasing or use some kind of paste in it to get that messy look. I had the same alternative style for years and if it lays flat with out product it looks bulbous & awkward just a heads up!
