So, I used my brush and cleaned it twice and it smells really terrible and I don't know why. could it be the foundation formula and the cleanser making it stink? its my 187 mac brush.

I usually use the highest grade alcohol I can get, fill a little cup swirl it around and clean it till no more makeup comes out, itll also dry faster and my brushes are all still in great soft condition.

Try with sephora's brush cleaner. Is an antibacterial spray that may work for you 💜
