This might be a dumb question but I was wondering if there's a specific way toner needs to be applied?? I ask cause the other day I saw a comment from someone saying it shouls be applied from the chin up...is it true? if so what difference does it make??

Oh ok but does it make a difference if you apply it for ex from the forehead down or is it better applying it in an upward motion?? I don't know if that makes sense.

There are all sorts of theories about applying skincare upwards to prevent wrinkles (skin sagging downwards), reach decade a new set of advice is propagated. I personally haven't been convinced that any of these are based on science so don't really listen. I guess that you should start where you want the most product on the face? But I can't see this making too much of a difference either as the skin's PH will have been altered by the cleanser all over...?

I apply my witch hazel, for example, from my forehead down. I lightly sweep it in straight strokes downward. I would imagine if you applied it after washing your face, you couldn't be spreading too much bacteria or anything. That's just how I do it. I also like sweeping it on my neck and chest as well. It's kind of refreshing!

I use cotton pads and apply it to my oily zones like my forehead and nose. I swipe it like I'm cleaning my face. toner is made so you get rid of all the makeup on your face.

I use Skin Food toner. I place it in the palm of my hand. Smack hands together and pats on face. I pat instead of rubbing it on. :)

After you have wiped the. Toner over your face, should you wash your face after or leave the toner on to dry then put your moisturiser on? I was just wondering(:
