Ok I'm wanting to hear from people who have tried all different foundations and I am after a truly full coverage foundation something that covers extremely flawlessly. Thank you.

Estée Lauder double wear or Double wear maximum coverage foundation. I use the double wear maximum coverage as concealer but have used it as foundation before and it covers everything flawlessly without looking cakey or heavy at all :)

I'm glad no one said Revlon colorstay because I honestly hate that stuff. it is liquidy and runny and looks like crap...I don't get all the positive reviews on the stuff. tarte makes two full coverage foundations and both are great. they are the Amazonian clay foundation and the maracuja miracle foundation. Kat von d is wicked too cause it covers everything. also dermablend by Vichy is probably the highest coverage I have ever seen in a foundation and its much cheaper than the other I mentioned. it was designed for people post surgery and with very sensitive skin. it will cover tattoos so it rly does wonders at covering problems on the face.

Kristie it's really about prepping your skin before you use this foundation... Clean skin... Moisturizer... Then a primer is a must...Ms. Jacqueline advice to you is right on point... She really sums it all up...with kat Von d foundation I use Mally perfect poreless primer... It's in my kit and I love it... I think creating the barrier between skin and product is a must... Always set makeup with powder... Most important have fun!!

Prepping is key...good skin are means less product in the long run. Heavy makeup can cause the skin to break down and not breath rt if worn daily...I'd use a toner. I like Andalou naturals clementine plus c toner for combination normal skin. Or lush toners. I then use Andalou naturals daily defense with an SPF of 18 so I don't get additional sun on my face as I live in CA. Then I use inglot ysm cream foundation. It has good coverage. Inglot amc has more. Most artists won't recommend their advanced full coverage bc it looks like a photoshopped face but chalky. Not even Mac artists think its a good a look to have a heavy face. Well the majority. Fresh skin looks younger and healthier. I do recommend inglot amc cream concealer. It's heavy, but parabenfree free, spreads well, and is a big enough pot to get a brush in. I can get a whole face brush into mine. Concealer in specific areas eliminates cake look. Plus I use pumpkin and poppy oil absorbing veil, it's a light weight powder that makes the skin look healthy, and it's translucent. So I don't have to worry about getting new colors for one product when I change colors from paler to tanner.

For full coverage I like 100% pure foundation or Gabriel cosmetics foundation. You can find both and samples as well via white rabbit beauty dot com. If you get the Gabriel cosmetics it applies easier with a flat brush, it sticks to flat tops and sinks into brushes like sigma f80

As a make up artist and beauty lover - I have a few favorites for full coverage foundations. My all time favorite is the Kat Von D foundation. The only deal with this foundation is that is sets very quickly so you need to apply and blend quickly. It sets wonderfully and requires little powder to set this product. As noted above, a great primer is key to getting it to last all day. My second favorite is I love to blend my Estee Lauder Maximum Coverage Double Wear along with my Estee Lauder Resilence Lift Foundation. The maximum coverage gives me the full coverage I like and the resilence lift gives me a beautiful dewy finish! My third favorite is the Tarte Full Coverage foundation. This one takes a while longer to set and the coverage is not as great as the one's I mentioned above. With each one of those, I love to use either IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Powder, the Make Up Forever HD Powder, or when I am on a budget the Elf HD Powder to set my foundation! I also love the Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation too - but personally, I like the finish of the EL Resilience Lift so I use my EL Maximum Coverage to get the coverage I need and blend it with the Resilence lift to give me the finish I like = wonderful!!! Primer definitely helps it to stay put all day and not sink into any fine lines. My favorite primers are Laura Geller's Spackle Primer in Champagne, Benefit's Pore Professional, or Mally's Perfect Primer. Hope this helps! Blessings to you!

Okay, I am CONSTANLY trying new foundations and I have a few faves that are not on this list that everyone must try! While I have not yet to try Estee Lauder Double Wear or Kat Von D...they are next on my list! I have a light complexion with freckling as well as dry areas and that T-zone shine. My first is Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24 Hour foundation...AMAZING! It is a little pricey, but so worth it when you find a product you love. Secondly, the product lasts a long time, this coming from someone who wears everday. My second is Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation. The difference between the two is that this isnt quite as matte as the Lancome, but still looks and feels beautiful. Last but DEFINITELY not least is Merle Norman Luxiva Lasting Foundation. This foundation delivers the most coverage out of the three, hands down. The only issue is that it dries pretty quick so you have to blend a tad bit quicker. If anyone tries any of these, let me know what you think! And if you know of any better, I'm always trying new things!

I agree with Jewel K. I recently tried the Kat Von D lockit tattoo foundation & loved it.My husband even loved it.He said he particularly liked the way my face looked with whatever I was using.Usually bell just say my makeup looks nice, but never pin points anything in particular. So that's saying something. It helps though to have a clean face then add a good primer, I used benefit pore professional to help reduce the size of my pores, then I quickly added the Kat Von D lockit & blended it in quickly since it drys pretty fast. Then I.used my kat von D lock it concealer as well to give my under eyes & my real trouble areas an extra layer of coverage. then I set it with some mineral powder. Which I actually used my mineral foundation powder that also has setting powder blended into it.My own creation, LOL.I've heard the estee Lauder is amazing especially if you prime before & use the Mac studio fix powder plus foundation with it.I'm planning on trying it out next. But yes the lockit is great just be sure you get matched 1st so you get the right shade.

I've worn the Kat Von D and I mostly love it. You HAVE to wear this one with a primer. The one that works with it best is the Kat Von D primer. The foundation oxidizes a lot, especially if you try it without the primer. I had to go two shades lighter, although I my skin is prone to products looking a little orange. My only issue with the Kat Von D is it can look dry on the skin and it's hard to blend if you aren't quick. I do find it's better than the new Urban Decay Up All Night foundation. They are very similar but the KVD wins hands down. It's a great foundation but better suited for special occasions and not everyday wear.
