I have highlighted, medium length and thickness hair, but it seems to be dry and the ends split and unravel very fast! Product suggestions or advice? Thanks =)

I have been a master hair designer and product development consultant form 35 years.
Please understand that dryness is a natural step with hair as it grows longer. Adding to the dryness by using products that promise to moisturize or heal your hair is false. All hair products are water soluble even the Keratin Relaxers. With these types of relaxers, they are weakened by using salt based shampoos or salt water. Instead of getting 3 to 4 months of straighter hair, you may achieve 2 to 3 months, except African American hair, which lasts longer on the ends.
All of this to say that there is no way that dry hair can be permanently moisturized. In fact, when applying hair products that promise this, that you achieve is a coating effect. Even natural ingredients from avocados and more only coat the hair giving a false reading. Within 2 to 3 hours, all of these ingredients and hair products either dilute or dry out depending on the climate. There was a product called Moisture Block that was the only non-water, shampoo soluble hair product. It locked in the essential moisture from your shower head, where the true source of moisture is located.
The hair and cosmetic industry is not regulated by the FDA (which in itself is a joke but all that we have). This means that anything can be stated on packaging and ingredient listings can be tampered with. An example is Moroccan Oil. They have created critical mass through false statements. Instead of listing the ingredients on the bottle, they are listed on the box the bottle comes in. Consumers throw out the box and they are unaware of the dangerous ingredients contained in the bottle. The first 4 ingredients are silicones. Silicones have gotten a bad rap, they do not dry out the hair or weigh it down too much. The reason for this bad press is in the added ingredients to silicones that break them down rendering them ineffective. The 5th ingredient is used in insecticides and worst ingredient is red dye #7, which is banned in 7 countries and proven to be carcinogenic.
