I have the HARDEST time applying concealer. I have 2 concealers from mac that were color matched for me and applied when I got my make up done. but I can NEVER apply out like they did amd instead of getting rid of my dark circles it accentuates them. how do you do it? my.circles are bad too not this light stuff lol.

Concealer can be tough to work with and the pros make it look so easy! I'm not one of those pros :-P but something that works for me is to apply tiny, tiny amounts at a time because a little bit can go a long way, and over-applying it can have the reverse effect. If you need more, you can always build it up more. I'd also suggest to keep practicing with using your ring finger. I find it to be easier than using a brush.

Are you using the one in the pot? Sometime when I use the one it the pot my concealer looks a bit cakey. Maybe a a concealer with a bit more of a creamy consistency would be better.

Make sure not to smear/"Rub in" your concealer. I have the Select Cover Up by MAC and you want to make sure you dab only. Concealer is supposed to be set in, so you just want to keep dabbing with your finger making sure to not move it out of place.

I put concealer on before I put my foundation on, It seems to work better for me.
