Hey! A lot of people, especially around my town, seem to frown upon overly unique hair colors, such as silver/grey, bright colors, etc. What do you ladies think of it?

I personally think it is really pretty if not over used! Some peek-a-boo bright colored streaks look cute on anyone.

I'm not a fan. It's hard to take someone seriously when they are an adult and still dying their hair funky colors, especially in a professional setting. It feels immature. I'm very conservative though, which seems to be a minority on Beautylish.

I'm not fond of how there is a lack of transition between the colors, but I LOVE the way those two colors look together.

Oh, I mainly meant like teenagers and young 20somethings. After a while you have to switch to more neutral colors. But, I think it's fun while you're young.

I don't like when girls get a billion different colors in their hair and it mixs up and just looks ugly instead of nice. I loveee that pink, it's so soft.

I think it's beautiful! I love all the light purple, silver, mint greens... it looks amazing :) although in my opinion it has an age limit (until about 30 years old..) and the fact that it damages hair because of all the bleach is a huge downside for me...

I'm with Emily. I have a more classic/conservative style than many people on this site and I don't have any interest in trying funky colors on my own hair, but I still do appreciate the creativity that people have when it comes to such hair colors.

I have my hair bright red and I love it. I'm 21 I'm an esthetics student and clients have no problem with it and neither does my school in a professional setting because the beauty industry has so many unique personalities and creativity. Eventually ill get bored and get it to a dark golden brown or something but even if I'm in school later for Dermatology, I expect people to judge and if its against a rule I don't care ill change it. What's cute that I see a lot is the blonde with peek a boos of a violet color.

I dye my hair very frequently, and in my opinion, it looked like a huge mess when I dyed all my hair neon green! LOL! But also, I really prefer the colored streaks peeking out. Or you could do a very nice ombré! Good luck!
The silver and pink are super cute as well

I love it, as long as it's well done and suits the person. If it's spotty or the person is embarrassed about it, it looks awful. I especially like pastel colors, lately!

Vanessa...how did you do it?! It looks gorgeous!

I just over tone it, so instead of leaving it on for five minutes I do 10 and it goes this nice silver color!
