You can always try sleeping in braids with damp/wet hair. It seems to work for me.

Let your hair be a little damp, and have an old tshirt cut up into 2" by 6" strips.. And roll your hair up in them by 2" sections and then tie them up on type of your head! Super pretty curls!

If you normal braid it, it won't be really wavy. But if you fishtail your hair, you would definitely achieve a nice,sexy waves ;) before you fishtail it,you have to make your hair damp :) leave your hair braided until it is fully dry.
