A perfect flawless matte face without looking 'too dry' or flaky and cakey? Cause that's what I always end up with.

Don't overpowder, instead buy a foundation that has a matte finish so you need less (or none) of the face powder. Everyone talks about Covergirl 3 in 1 and Revlon Colorstay, their finishes are perfectly matte all day. It's a good place to start :)

I've tried revlon colorstay specifically for combo/oily skin (I have it too!) and it keeps me matte with a tiny bit of powder only. Its not cakey and not too matte. I definitely recommend it, our skin types are prob the same haha.

Benefits de feel good is a great alternative to powder. I use it in the summer when I get hot and oily in the face.

A tip if you are re-applying powder throughout the day to get rid of any shine, use a blotting sheet to get rid of any oil on the surface of your skin then apply your powder this will stop it building up to much and becoming valley :)
