This is a picture of my hair now, it kinda has a red tint in the sun. I want to go to an all over caramelish blonde color. I have never went blonde before, besides highlights. I have a lot of experience with haircolor, so I want to do it at home. any suggestions on color or tips on how to achieve this? anything and everything would be helpful!

I have never used bleach on my hair at home, because I'm chicken. I've done others hair with bleach and got good results. I just wanted to ask for tips that maybe I didnt know. I didny go to beauty school.

I know red is hard to get out so I was asking tips to prevent brassiness other than purple shampoo after.

Well do you want cool tones or warm tones? We would need to know a lot of different things to be able to give you any tips.

Yes I can. I live 10 blocks from sallys and I always get my color from there.

You should go lighter and sallys has all the tools they need Usually its 40 peroxide.

40 is really bad for your hair though, so I wouldn't recommend it but you will need help to do this. If you put it on all your hair at one time the roots and ends will be lighter, it's called hot roots and everyone has porous ends, you have to do it by zones, and start in the back, it's the darkest area of hair.

I'm no hair expert but whenever I've bleached my hair it turns a little orange first and I have to end up doing a second process to get the blonde color I want but it still has a little brassiness also I have a natural reddish tint to my hair.

I just want to lift it enough to get the color I want.

I think you could pull it off! Just be careful to use a color treated shampoo after it if you want it to last, I forgot to use mine and the toner they had to put in came out so ya. xxx

I think because you seemed a little rude in your first comment is all.

I think it would look great with your skin tone. Wish I could give better advice though! 💕

@aleighnna your first comment was unnecessary. if you were going to help me you would have. I'm pretty sure I got this though.
