Find an oil free face wash. Neutrogena has everything. Also, if you wear makeup - use a prier! NYX has one called Shine Killer. I put it on my T Zone and my foundation lasts so much longer :) hope I helped!

Bare Minerals oil control primer. Mario Badescu glycolic acid foaming cleanser...great for drying up the oil. I have SUPER oily skin and I use this only twice a week.

Don't exfoliate too much or your skin will produce more oil to compensate. See a dermatologist to find out what is causing the oil and treat the acne. Then use a gentle cleanser like Cetaphil to wash your face and exfoliate a couple times a week. Use an oil-free moisturizer (I believe Neutrogena makes one) and hopefully your skin will calm down.

Use deep cleaning astringent. I have very oily skin, and it works very well. Just use it 2-3 times a day.

1 do try the coalface from lush its brill for oily skin. Or just an oil free cleaner. Origins do a good one. 2 oil free moisturiser. Easy to find there's heaps on the market. 3. Primer most primers help with shine and oil control. Too faced primed and pore less pure is a good one so is Smashbox photo Finnish. As for breakouts you have probably upset your skins acid mantle. Just make sure the products your using aren't too alkali and you should be okay after a few weeks with a steady skin routine. If not you may be allergic to a product your using. :)

Mix together half of a banana, an egg yolk, and a teaspoon of honey and apply it to your face and leave it there until it dries. remove with a cold washcloth. I had oily skin and this helped a lot.

Please do not listen to the people saying not to moisturizer! Moisturizing can help prevent your skin from over producing oil. Do you know for sure you have oily skin? Go check in the mirror do you have large pores. That are noticeable when you are not up close and personal in the mirror? If yes, ten you are oily. If no, you are not taking proper care of your skin. No to the oily skin? Then lets talk about taking proper care of your skin. Cleanse, tone and moisturizer is a must for every skin type. Cleansing cleanses the debris from the skin, toning brings the ph balance of your skin back to its proper level which allows anything after to fully absorb. If you do not tone your performance products after will not work to their full potential. After toning, you want to apply a serum or just apply a moisturizer. If you do not moisturizer your skin will try to over compensate for the moisture it is not getting. If you do have oily skin you still want to do the things I said above but use oil free products and also mattifying products. Cleanse with a foaming type of cleanser. Tone with an astringent (witch hazel is great and natural) and use some kind of serum that has acne fighting properties. Then apply a moisturizer that is oil free and mattifies the skin. Any questions email me at brittyoung124@yahoo.com. :)
