So my combination skin is sensitive to begin with so I use a lot of natural and oil free products.
Over the past few weeks my skin has been getting really dry especially around my nose and chin, and the skin is super sensitive and even natural moisturisers make it burn and its EXTREMELY painful now.
Its so bad my skin looks like its shedding and its horrible to look at.

I can't put any cremes or treatments on it as its too painful, I can use an exfoliating cloth to get the dry skin off but thats painful and I think its irritating the skin more.

I just don't know what to do HELP!!

This happened to me after I used a harsh acne cleanser for about a week. I have REALLLLYY sensitive skin so I know your pain! What I did was just wash my face in the shower with Dove bar soap. It's really gentle. Don't put anything else on it either after your shower. I also didn't wear makeup for almost a week until the pain, redness, and drying out eventually went away. Let your skin breathe and never go back to whatever you were using before. Hope I helped :)

Do not use the exfoliating cloth it will only make the skin worse and painful...Try using aquaphor or a mild moisturizer like cetaphil...Do not wash your face too often n just keep yourself hydrated by having lots of water...Since it is painful the best thing is too a derm immediately...gud luck :)

Dermalogica (hope I spelled it right!) sells a sensitive skin line and there's a moisturizer called "Barrier Repair" which is also in the sensitive skin line, it feels like vaseline but when you put it on your face it feels like nothing's there! They sell Dermalogica at Ulta, however it's kinda pricey but it may help! :)

I use Cetaphil moisturizer to keep my skin from flaking (if that makes sense) also, you can apply aloe to bring down any inflammation! Definitely agree with the others on checking with your doctor. It could be your body reacting to something it's lacking or something you put on your face. I hope it gets better Love!
