Hello everyone!
I was was wondering if anyone has taken online makeup certification classes? And if so which ones do you recommend? Preferably something cheap and rather quick.

You don't have to have a certificate to become a makeup artist especially if you're trying to do it online. I would suggest going to an actual makeup school or learn on your own and practice, practice, practice : )

I'm currently doing one online via a makeup school but I'm in the uk. I've been doing makeup for years but to get myself properly insured they all wanted to see an actual certificate. I have done it online due to hubby being in the RAF and us moving about a lot. I completely agree with Krystle with learning on your own. I acquired all I my skills through practice (still learning though) I don't know about the US but there are lots of online courses here. Maybe have a google and see what your options are. Practicing will get you comfortable with makeup. Everyone has a different way of doing things. Hope you manage to find what you are looking for :)
