I have dark brown hair and I wanted to know what would happen if I used purple shampoo.

I don't know for sure if it will do something but one of my blond friend told me that her stylist told her it darken a bit your hair. But I am not sure :) hope it helps

Purple shampoo takes the yellowness out of dyed blonde hair (yellow is opposite purple on the color wheel). I had blonde chunks in my black hair--I used purple shampoo to keep the blonde from looking too yellow. It did absolutely nothing to my dark hair (except making it smell good lol).
