I'm a first time makeup user. What brands of foundation and liquid eyeliner are good?

MAC and Sephora have great eye liner. Foundation from Loreal Paris.

I use a mixture of Neutrogena Healthy Skin and Revlon Colorstay for my foundation (it stays all day, but it has a little more glow to it so it looks more like skin.) I don't use liquid eyeliner, but I do use gel. If you're interested at all you should give Loreal's infallible gel eyeliner (I can't remember the exact name, but it has a gold lid and comes with a brush. The brush in itself is okay, but I'd suggest buying Sonia Kashuk's eyeliner brush. It has a bit of a bend in the brush, which makes it easier to apply the eyeliner.)

If your a begginer I'd start of with pencil liner instead pf liquid liner
