Lemon puts holes in your hair and weakens the entire strand of hair. Anything that will lighten your hair is damaging. Just use a hair mask or something like that once a week to nourish your hair.

I asked my hair dresser about this ( she's an relative so it's not biased). But she said it's terrible to do that to your hair it reacts to people's hair in different ways so it's a risk. I recommend just getting it done , or using a dye.

I recommend to just either buy box dye or go to a hair salon because you don't want to damage your hair severely
