When you moisturize, so you seal with an oil? What kind of shampoo are you using? Sulphate free works best for out hair and even so we need to cowash (wash with conditioner) more then use shampoo as it strips our hair, or well everyone's, of nutrients and oils that our scalp doesn't produce as well. Also, how often do you wash and deep condition your hair? Also, hair grows as 1/2 a month, sometimes more or less depending on the person. Try stimulating your scalp more when you moisturize your hair to get the blood flowing.

Your shampoo and condition your hair every other day. And keep trimming your hair a little once a month. Adding oils in your hair will just make it look greasy.

If she's black, and by looking at her picture I'm assuming she is, washing her her every day will royally mess it up. Our hair needs the oils after we moisturize, if not then the moisturizer does no good. It's kinda how black hair works.
