Most of these companies mentioned still use animal products or am I wrong? I'm seriously asking because as someone who is cruelty free, I would love to know. lol Is tarte cf for real? When I have checked they used animal products. Or do you just mean that they don't test on animals? Sorry for being confused. lol :)

Hi all... I've just joined here to get a word in on Animal testing...like most of you reading the eldless debate of cosmetic houses with "who does and who doesn't". Everyone especially our clients and customers are these days very concerned but there is a lot of misconceptions creating confusion! You can research best on each brand houses websites. By law they do need to be honest about their testing. In my professional career over a decade as a makeup artist I've observed the changes with each brand stearing away from testing hence also the stay power of products too especially lipsticks yes? What a great revenue for the popularity of primers that created haha.

For your peace of mind it makes it much easier to understand that by law China does test every new Brand or product released before it is used and sold on their faces. So having said that... you can fairly much say that every skincare/makeup product MADE or PURCHASED in or from China has been a part of the Animal testing process. However Please note: If the same brands originally made in the US or UK, Europe or Australia or anywhere else in the world it is safe from Animal testing if they have stated it on their websites. So you are buying the 'origional' formula (non-China formula).
Most things these days are made in China including the packaging...very hard to find anything that not! So here's a comman misconception,...you buy a product formula made in the US and its packaged in the US but its in a bottle or tube made in China. This is highly likely!
If you are concerned be careful where you are buying your stock from especially if they are overseas shippers.

Anyone looking for cruelty free makeup as well as skin care might be interested in looking at Arbonne. It is vegan, botanically based and on the PETA approved list. Please get in touch and I'll hook you up! :)
