Oh Lordy...where to start. Actually, I'm not even going to list stuff because the vast majority of (at least American) women are guilty of about 3/4. My personal opinion is that beauty should be effortless. The more effort it looks like you put in, the more vulgar it appears to me. Even if you ARE a slave to your beauty routine, it should never LOOK like that's the case.
I will actually bring up one thing that drives me crazy. F*CKING SHIMMER.
Anything that says "illuminating" "highlighting" or any variation thereof is code for glitter. I don't care how finely milled it is, if I can see pieces of it in direct sunlight (and I always can), it annoys the crap out of me. You know how you get a nice, dewy glow? Color correction, good moisturizer and proper skin care.
I have a new one! XD
I really REAAALLYYYY dislike when people wont wear a shade because "it's sooo not a winter color!" or wont wear a fragrance because "it's too summery & its winter"
Whooooo caaarreesss. Your fruity fragrance will still smell good when you're cold & your smokey eye will still look good during the summer. Just wear what you want to wear!
Omg Andrea g I agree completely. It feels like a wasted effort if there's nothing really write about. Neutral looks bore me to death. I only do make up to look like it. I hate over bronzing. And I think there's nothing wrong with wearing a ton of makeup, just make it look good. There is such a thing as too much.
"nude lipsticks" By this I do not mean the type of nude that's brown or "natural looking." In this case, I'm referring to that pale color that most often washes you out. I used to be a fan of that, but it's becoming overrated. On top of that I live in Jersey, and with all those guido/guidette, "Jersey Shore" influences, it made me get tired of it even more. Speaking of which, I am also tired of the "Snooki hair pouf."
not sure if it was or is a trend but i dislike when ppl match there makeup to there clothes. or if the majority of the colors you have on matches. its so 90s to me. i guess its b/c im not afraid to put different colors together idk. and i always hated those huge, sparkley rhinestones with acrylic designs on nails. too much going on :\
Ombre! Sick of it!
When people put concealer on their lips (or itlooks like it.....http://e1.365dm.com/12/09/800x600/G...)
Over zealous with the fake tan...
Over the top brows. I love dark, full eyebrows but only on those that have them naturally. I even think those that have blonde hair and naturally dark brows can look great. But when you get someone who has naturally lighter brows and they make them super dark it just doesn't look good. You should enhance your natural brows, not turn them into something else!
Soooo over every one I have a consultation with telling me they want to look like Kim Kardasian!! REALLY? First off - you prob couldn't afford the plastic surgery - and besides in most cases these clients are far more beautiful than that silly bimbo to begin with !! Embrace your amazing features that make you YOU!!

Orange tans. Bright orange is not a skin color. Really dark tans in the winter. Tweezed to death eyebrows.

The hype over dark Berry lipsticks. Maybe because it doesn't compliment me at all.

Neutral eye looks are the most boring looks in the world TO ME. I never watch tutorials on them & I'm never impressed when I see someone post one.
Don't even get me started on those who add a blue eyeliner to a neutral look & call it "edgy" lmao

People who put A LOT of effort into looking like they're not wearing any makeup. Since it's not my style, it seems pointless to me.
