No judging each other here, I just see so many threads about what everyone loves and why. Now, I want to know what everyone loathes and why. Let's keep it civil and relevant to the topic.
I really dislike stencilled eyebrows. Some might be okay, but I often find them so unnatural and ridiculous looking.
Also, lip glosses that are too wet and sticky. You can't kiss, eat, or drink, & strands of my hair always get stuck in it. It drives me crazy.
In all honesty, I'm over false eyelashes. They're fine every once in a while, but if you're wearing them every day I really just think it looks bad.
I don't know, a lot of the trends don't bother me.
Except red hair. People are jumping on the bandwagon and telling me I'm stealing their colour, when I've had it for four years. But that's not the trend, it's the people
You know, I tried falsies thinking I would love them and realised the same thing. I might wear them on special occasions when I need to look more done up, other than that, they've sat in their case.
I don't like the crazy nail art. The nails that have big plastic bows and things sticking out. It's like accessories, for fingernails. I just think it's a too much for an average person to wear everyday. If I had a while sculpture on my nails like that at school, people would give me the craziest looks! Haha. It's just not practical.
I'm not a fan of false lashes either. They hardly ever look natural, and while I don't think it looks bad, it doesn't wow me because they look obviously fake.
I'm also really over this BB cream hype. Maybe its because I don't feel they do anything for me and that they're just a hyped up tinted moisturizer. Just not my thing I guess!
Cait...I felt the same way until I tried a REAL BB cream from Korea then I understood but all this crap here is watered down foundation and it shouldn't be called a beauty balm at all
Cake faces! Makeup is suppose to be used to accentuate your features, not to cover them! Also when people don't apply foundation properly to their hairline..
@Ellie I agree, also all of the 'natural' looks that people try to do that are still a half pound of makeup bug me. Just because the colors are neutral, doesn't mean it looks natural, especially with 2 inch falsies on.
Can the ombre and neon trend be extinct already. It's annoying me with how over done it's become. Apparently we're supposed to look like we're going to a rave instead of school or work.
I'm over primer. I've never used and don't get y all,of a sudden it's so popular. We didn't always wear it ya know. Just one more step to do and if you have a great foundation you really don't need it
I agree with the primer as well. I only use eye primer. I don't see the point of face primer, especially if you use a moisturizer and have a good foundation. Its just another product they want me to buy. It may work for some but its not for me.
Over dramatic contouring! I get that a light neutral contour is magical, but c'mon there's no need to have it applied so harshly, un-blended and a few shades too far from the right shades.

I also just feel that lips should never be lighter than your skin tone.

I'm sick of ombré hair...it's not new or original...it's originally from the 80's and it's just tired and I'm over it

I hate when people have their hair dyed so blonde and their foundation so dark that their skin is darker than their hair! It looks so fake

I dislike people who put on WAAAYYY too much blush. It's like the whole cake face thing, no one looks good or likes them. So stop it please.
