In case my last statement was a little brief, let me explain in more detail why it isn't really going to be possible:

1. You have to consider something that not only will be sticky enough to stay on your nail, but will also dry in such a way that it won't stick to other surfaces.
2. It has to be removable and non-damaging. There's no point in having an organic product if it's just going to ruin your natural nail.
3. It has to have a reasonable shelf life of at least a couple of days, and several months if you were to consider a commercial product.
4. It has to have a density that will allow for a reasonably even pigment load and distribution without interfering with the other qualities of the polish.
5. It has to have a reasonable wear time of at least a day without showing chips/disintegration.

You can get some of these qualities with natural glues and such, but not all of them. Believe me, if there was a logical way to do it, someone would be making millions right now.

I know that here on Beautylish there are a lot of women who know so much about nail polish.

What do you know about green nail polish?

I have been searching and searching the internet to see if there is any nail polish out there that is 100% organic. I really want to make my own nail polish but have come up with nothing.

Has anybody ever made there own nail polish?

Thanks

Not going to happen. You could conceivably stain your nails, but I can't think of a way to get a removable compound that is adhesive enough to stick to a relatively smooth surface like a nail without using serious chemicals. If you're into the organic thing, learn to love your natural nail.

Stephanie D said it best. She's 100% correct on that one.

Thanks so much. I knew I could count on this community. I always love getting feedback from others about an idea I've had. Thanks again! :)
