So I've been using makeup forever hd foundation and they all say its magic but its not you have to do layers for it to cover I used a brush and I used a beauty blended it is also very pricey, I need something that covers good and doesn't look like you have it packed on your face I'm leaning to mac but I need ideas on which products are better and worth it for all the money you spend.

Yeah I find that the HD foundation is very light-medium to medium. Idk how people find it "full coverage," I don't have blemishes or anything and I can still tell it's not full coverage lol

If you want something that will give a similar look and is still HD friendly just with more coverage I'd suggest the RCMA foundation.
I find that it's basically the cream/fuller coverage version of the HD foundation.
It looks like skin, no flashback, no SPF, doesn't look cakey and is a satin finish.
I find that it's great for normal-dry skin or even combination.
If you're oily you'll need a very good setting powder, I quite like the Palladio rice powder

I use RCMA on my clients, however it's a pro item you should read up on before you use it. The pigmentation is really high, you need to make absolutely certain you wash your face every day when using it. I also find it not to be so great for dry skin. If my client has dry skin, I'll mix it with Embryolisse moisturizer. It IS an amazing, full coverage foundation, it is formulated to look like skin. Jaqueline is an expert on RCMA.
For a drugstore option, I like the Loreal Infallible Pro Matte. I've also just purchased the Clinique Beyond Perfecting foundation. I only used it once and I liked it, but I need to use it again to really get a feel for it.
In all honesty, you'll never get true "full coverage" from a liquid, for that you'll need a cream. That said, I do find my KVD Foundation to be high coverage. I know a lot of people complain about the shade range but I'm lucky my shade is in there. Lastly, I have the CoverFX Custom Cover drops that can be added to any foundation for extra coverage. The website says the drops can be added to water based, silicone based, anything based kind of product. This has been a lifesaver for me because I love a dewy, luminous finish, and that usually means low to medium coverage. So I add my CoverFX drops and it works great. Hope that helps!

If you have normal to oily skin I suggest Estée Lauder Double Wear. It's medium to full coverage, lightweight, long wearing, transfer resistant, and doesn't break down from skin's oils. There's also Estée Lauder Double Wear Maximum Cover that has the fullest full coverage of any foundation I've ever seen and is just as amazing as the regular Double Wear.

Illamasqua's Rich Liquid foundation is extremely full coverage. A little goes a long way and it lasts all day!

If you want really really full coverage foundation, you can try mac full coverage foundation. their foundation cover every flaw I have. They even cover up my darkest secrets. but the foundation made me sort of cakey, that's why I never used it anymore.

Right now my no.1 go to foundation is mufe hd. I know they're not full coverage, but you can just cover your blemishes with concealer like mufe full cover concealer, and finish with ben nye transcluent powder.
