So my lips have been very dry recently so I started using lip balm more but I feel it isn't enough especially since my lips seem to get a bit dry overnight while I sleep. Is there any lip treatment, store bought or DIY that would keep my lips hydrated throughout the night?

Vaseline. It'll soften up the dry skin and make it easier to exfoliate and your lips will be super soft

I have a two step routine
1) exfoliate with LUSH lip exfoliating scrub using a toothbrush (reserved for skincare of course :))
2) apply a Malin + Goetz lip moisturizer generously

I use the Jeffree star lip scrub and then I put Vaseline on my lips, the next morning my lips are so smooth

Since Vaseline is a sealant and doesn't actually moisturize, I apply a Burts bees lip balm (or other moisturizer) and then Vaseline over it to seal it on all night! :)

Thank you everyone! I tried the Vaseline suggestions as I have some and really helped a bit. I'll definitely try out the aquaphor, clarified butter and coconut oil! Hopefully I can get these lips of mine in shape for liquid lipsticks!
