Hey so I dyed my hair platinum blonde a couple weeks ago and after about 2 weeks it always turns back to my normal blonde color, even though I am using purple shampoo. I don't want to have to go in the salon that often (I try and go every 6 weeks) but I don't want my hair to fade. what can I do to keep the color up?

Sarah I usually wash my hair every three to four days and Izzy I use the purple shampoo about once a week.

You're actually not supposed to wash your hair for 36 hours after you dye it and not with shampoo for at least 72 hours.

I'd try not washing your hair as much, try dry shampoo, and I'd try using the purple shampoo a bit more, if you're worried about it drying then you can easily substitute your conditioner for a deep conditioner or a hair mask that you can use.
