I know mostly all of us have that problem where we are trying to find that one foundation color to blend in with our skin tone! Trust me...I've been there too. There are times where I have to mix two difference shades to create one suitable for me.
What are some ways that you have conquered this issue?

I ask for samples at Sephora because I've made the mistake of buying online, wearing, and going to work with the wrong color lol

I found Ellis Faas foundation. It's pricey, but I've never had a foundation match me so well. On their website it explains that they derived their pigments from consulting dermatologists/medical people and copying the exact color of melanin that exists in different skin tones. (Or something like that)
I don't know if that's just something everyone does or if it's a marketing thing, but I can say I have never had a foundation just disappear into my skin the way this one does. It is by far my all time fav.

I'm very very pale so instead of trying to find the perfect match for me or sticking to just one foundation for the rest of my life I bought a white foundation from manic panic and I just mix it in till I get the closest match.
