Itchy skin after washing.

I changed my skin care routine because I didn't like the smell of the other and now that I've switched I've gone with the Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash and it was fine the first time I used it but now it is making my face itch. Is it because of the change of the change in formula?

That sounds like an allergic reaction. I'd stop using it immediately and find something else. If you're determined to use it or unsure it's the face wash causing the reaction, patch test it on the inside of your wrist.

I'd be happy to suggest replacement cleansers, if you want!

It really makes my face feel squeaky clean and so nice and it foams so well! It's only $12 for about 12 oz of product; a normal sized face wash is about 5 oz, this will last literally forever and at $12 you can't beat it. It's absolutely wonderful. I've used a lot of cleansers and cleanser samples, and this one is by far the best from the drugstore price range!

My other favorite cleanser is definitely not drugstore level, it's the GlamGlow YouthCleanse. It's just a really awesome texture, it smells great, it cleans my skin so well...I'll be using that one once I finish my own giant size of the Soap and Glory Face Soap and Clarity =)

I use the neutrogiana oil free acne wash as well and it is also making my face itch and it's making my face red too! My sister also uses it and her face is also red and itchy. It's definitely not an allergic reaction for me because I'm not allergic to it but I also wanted to know what it is that causes it too.. Your not the only one lol, maybe it's because I wash my face w/ it but my face is really clear and I don't have acne?

Mine isn't clear, so that's not the case for me! But it is so bad for me it burns and is terrible I can't put anything on it

I suggest to stop using it and go to your dermatologist if the burning is still happening after you haven't used it for a few days
