I've had a sore eye today (due to hay fever which happens quite often) but today when I put my makeup on the products would just not stick around my eye, it would separate and just transfer straight off the second anything went near it - anyone know any tips to prevent this in the future?
Thank you

•Make sure your face (especially around your sore eye) is dry.
•I find most of the time when my face isn't *completely* dry, around the area all my makeup would come off.
•I learned this, sadly, yesterday. Went to put eyeliner (for the first time btw) and some eyeshadow, but I had messed up a couple times so the area was wet with the cleanser from my makeup remover. It stayed on until I moved my glasses and it came in contact with the cleanser and went away!
•So maybe (maybe!) the area near it was wet, (cause I find that went my eye[s] is sore, it waters up, so I don't wear makeup that day.

I use Nivea men's after shave balm which is like perfect as a primer but I've not tried an eyeshadow primer also I think my eye may have been wet tbh as it was watering like crazy xx

Your eye does that for a reason! To rid it of dirt, oils, etc. Putting makeup over it will only make the issue worse and you won't be able to wear makeup for a longer period of time. However, with that said, try using a primer along with eye drops to help ease the problem

I would probably keep eye makeup to a minimum. Try the Maybellin Tattoo Cream Shadows and a really good waterproof mascara.
