I like to use a really thick lotion after I've used a foot scrub and a pumice stone. put socks on and go to bed, you'll have to do this for a couple evenings. always put lotion on your feet before bed and it should help combat it.

You should scrub the dead skin off. Then when you put lotion on your feet at night put socks on afterwards. It helps to lock in moisture. I like to Vaseline on then socks. Hope this helps some!

I like Philosophy Soul Owner foot cream. It has glycolic acid in it that will start to exfoliate the dead skin. Just put it on your rough spots before bed and sleep in socks. It may take a few days but it will definitely make a difference. Its not a moisterizer (although it does moisterize) it's a treatment. Then you can use a a thick body butter on your feet in the daytime. Warning: Do not put the Soul Owner between your toes because it will burn away the sensitive skin there. This is a potent product. You can safely use it on elbows & knees also. I wouldn't put it ANYWHERE else.

Early stages of Athletes' Foot looks present here. This can spread to palms, underarms and the groin area...as well as to toenails,..and other family membets.
In the tub, after exiting, I'd spray a bleach based cleaner and avoid stepping on shared bathroom rugs or carpet in my bare feet as a precaution.
Use a separate towel to dry feet thoroughly, focusing between toes, and wash separately with your own socks on the sanitary setting with bleach.
I'd get a thorough pediatric a reputable salon, sharing my concerns... and they'll clean and soften them. They often can tell early stages of fungus as they see it often.. After that, I'd pick up some Lotramin..air feet out properly..use all cotton socks right now if need be, avoid plastic soles and leather gymshoes. I'd disinfect all of my shoes and insoles. If you begin to see more "scales" or cracks, develop burning or itching, I'd see my Physician.

Some people find Tea Tree Oil to be highly effective. To soften, Alpha Skincare has a Glycolic Foot Lotion that leaves feet soft and exfolisted. Sally has Mr. Pumice bars, but socks can worsen this at night if it is fungal..so if in doubt, consult a salon or your physician.

Wow thank you Rozberry!:) that helps so much! But I also had just been playing outside in some mud so that might be what you're seeing when you say it may be Athletes' Foot.

It's actually the sole cracks and early 'scaling" along the bottom heels that are common signs of onset fungus. It's best to rule it out for peace of mind. The pedicure, even a basic one, will help and offer advice. The Lotion won't cause harm, I promise. Worse case scenario, you get a pedi with callous treatment and feel great with lovely soft and pretty feet. :)
This is my favorite foot treatment..and I am passionate and finicky about skincare..lol

Even Ulta's Body Lotion would be lovely.
