Smokey eye pallets?

I want to start trying smokey eyes, but not super bold ones because I am only 13. I have blue eyes and don't want to spend a ton on a palette. Tips for smokey eyes or pallets would be greatly appreciated! Thanks ladies:)

I don't think you necessarily need a palette specifically for smokey eyes. Do you own any eyeshadows or palettes already?

If you are interested in this palette, Check out Vintage or tacky on YouTube, she does a review of their product so you will have an idea of the quality. I agree that you done necessarily need a palette for this but if you want one, this one would work well!

That palette would look so good on your blue eyes!! Sephora's own collection has some amazing palettes too that you can use to do smokey eyes! But you definitely think you should use more warm colors to do your smokey eye instead of very Cold colors like grey-ish and stuff.

I think if you don't want to spend a lot of money, the Maybelline eyestudio quads are a great place to start. They have a wide variety of shades, and you should not need more than 4 shades to do a smoky eye. Or if you want something a little nicer but still inexpensive, the Sonia Kashuk palettes from target are pretty decent and will give you a wider variety of shades to work with.

"Would it work" really depends on what kind of smokey eye you're going for, like black, dark brown, burgundy, etc. With that Clinique palette it looks like you'd be able to get a dark brown smokey eye.

I would suggest looking into the Lorac Pro Matte Palette. With that palette I've been able to create a light brown, a dark brown, a burgundy, and a black smokey eye as well as other regular looks. It's $28, amazing quality, and perfect for beginners (:

What exactly do you think a smokey eye is? Do you have a picture that you are trying to recreate? The reason I ask, is because a lot of people don't really understand what true smokey eyes are... There are so many different eyeshadow techniques that have different names, some are bolder than others...
